Lately, I've been thinking about trying to convince friends of mine that spin at different clubs in SF to let me sit in for a few minutes during one of their club nights to try to get my foot in the door as an indie rock/new wave DJ. Have any of you ever spun or thought of spinning at any clubs? If so, what would be your genre that you'd spin and what would your DJ name be?
For me, I would spin mostly indie and 80's Stewff with a little disco and funk. I given the DJ name lots of thought and I think I've finally picked the perfect one for me: DJ PRETENTIOUS BASTARD WITH A LAME-ASS PSEUDONYM.
