I thought this thread could be similar to the ones in Music and Movies, and might spark a few interesting chats!
I am currently watching M*A*S*H....it's the one where Rader gets promoted

I don't see what makes it a game.

I'm sorry, running threads. Threads that are essentially "What are you doing right now?". I think you could have figured that out. The only one that doesn't suck is "Now Playing..."

How is that any different to this thread?

I actually tend to agree. "Now Playing" is cool and "The Thread That Will Probably End Someday" are alright. But a "What Are You Watching" thread is ruddy pointless. If theirs summit good on telly right now just start a thread about it so you can go into further detail. I'm not saying this thread shouldn't happen. Just that i won't post in it.

Luckily mine isn't a what are you doing right now thread, its a comment on the last film you saw thread. Plus it has started discussion and has the Norris seal of approval (only thread on wOw he likes to read). That's good enough for me. If you don't like them, don't read or post in them.
Right now I'm watching a documentary about Tombs. I love a good documentary.

I don't know. Maybe it isn't. I'm just saying maybe we should limit this kind of Stewff to like one or two threads or just move them to the Running Games folder (Even if they aren't games).

Moving a movie discussion thread (something the movie section was really lacking) to the running games forum would be a bit silly. Same with the now playing thread.

Wow...I am surprised that people have reacted like this to the thread, but that is cool, if everyone thought the same way, boards like this would be pointless.
From my point of view, the only reason I started it is because I ALWAYS have the TV on and don't often listen to music while I am online and I thought it might start a discussion...which I guess it has!!

I think this forum is going to become even more boring and monotonous than it already is if it becomes nothing more than a series of "What did you watch/listen to/etc most recently?" threads. Maybe it wouldn't be so silly if we changed the folder name to "Running Games/Threads".

From my point of view, the only reason I started it is because I ALWAYS have the TV on and don't often listen to music while I am online and I thought it might start a discussion...which I guess it has!! The tv forum has been a bit light on posting anyway lately, and since the WWE hadn't exactly been inspiring a lot of conversation recently I think more mosting in the entertainment section is a good thing. Within reason. I think this forum is going to become even more boring and monotonous than it already is if it becomes nothing more than a series of "What did you watch/listen to/etc most recently?" threads. Maybe it wouldn't be so silly if we changed the folder name to "Running Games/Threads". Well, I think movie discussion in the movie forum is a good thing. Days used to pass with no posts in it, which is a shame with a forum with so many movie fans in it.
