From www.wrestlingdotcom.com-"Here Comes The Pain" and here comes the legends! The latest installment of WWE SmackDown! for the PS2 will not only contain your favorite stars such as Booker T, Kurt Angle & John Cena but will also feature past stars including "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, The Legion of Doom and The Ultimate Warrior. No news on whether these are the only legends included in the game or if they're playable characters. WDC will keep you informed as we obtain more info. www.wrestlingdotcom.com/news/59436485.php

Awesome. They really should include legends, as well as some old themes for the CAW.

If this is true, that's gonna be awesome.
Now, how about some "legends" from WCW? That would take the cake.

That sounds cool, but there's a good possibility that they won't be playable characters, which would totally be a sucky-ass teaser.

If they're only going with WWF legends they should include:
- Rick Steamboat - Jimmy Snuka - Rick Rude - Macho Man - Piper - HACKSAW (So you could edit him and put him in a school janitor outfit, right Lox? ;D) - Bret
And if WCW legends were to be included they should have:
- Sting - Wahoo - Tully Blanchard - Stevie Ray (so you could have Harlem Heat)
And I would include more people, but I'm tired and lazy and those are the only ones I'd really like to see.

Ya know, it's funny; I just got a letter in the mail a few days ago, reading:
Dear Mr. Isux,
We here at THQ, as well as everyone at WWE that have been helping us along the way, realize that you are one of the greatest legends (if not THE greatest legend) in the history of the world. However, seeing as how you do not currently, nor have you ever worked for WWE in any capacity, we regret to inform you that you will not be included as one of the "legends" in our upcoming game, "Smackdown!: Here Comes the Pain". Do know, though, that it was an extremely close vote, with 99 out of 100 votes in your favor; however, Triple H's vote counts 100x over. (When asked for comment, Triple H merely grumbled something about "Not working THQ style", then stabbed me in the eye with the syringe he carries in his back-left buttock.) We are sorry to disappoint you.
Sincerely, The THQ Staff
P.S. Trish says "Thank you for the greatest night of my life."

It would be cool if the legends were used in storyline mode, for a cheap pop.
